PARKING

PARKING LOT 24

Hackers arriving from outside of UC Riverside are allowed to park in Parking Lot 24 on the corner of University Avenue and Canyon Crest Drive.

When arriving at Parking Lot 24, a parking attendant will distrubte a free parking permit for the weekend upon mention of Citrus Hack. This parking permit is valid Friday through Sunday. The parking attendant will be on duty during the following time intervals:

  • Friday, April 26: 5:00-8:00pm
  • Saturday, April 27: 8:00-10:00am

If you happen to arrive after the scheduled times listed above, search for “Citrus Hack” on the yellow parking kiosks inside of Parking Lot 24.
In the event that you cannot find Citrus Hack on the parking kiosk, visit the UC Riverside Transportation and Parking Services Information Booth next to Parking Lot 1 and ask about Citrus Hack parking.

Note: There are no parking passes available to be distributed on Sunday, April 28.

Current UC Riverside students can park in any parking lot already available with valid UC Riverside parking permit.

Awarded to the team whose project contains exceptional complexity, design, utility, and polish.

Second Place Overall

Awarded to the team whose project exhibits a high level of complexity, design, utility, and polish.

Sentinel: Cyber Security

Awarded to the team whose project has best proven to ethically break into complex systems and/or withstand known methods of targeted cyber attacks.

Reclaimer: Sustainability

Awarded to the team whose project best contributes to the betterment of the environment and/or promotes an environmentally friendly lifestyle.

Campaigner: Social Good

Awarded to the team whose project best attempts to solve societal problems within diversity and inclusivity.

Medic: Health

Awarded to the team whose project best innovates within med-tech or promotes a healthy lifestyle.

Best Beginner

Awarded to the team composed of at least 50% first-time-hackers whose project exhibits commendable complexity, design, utility, and/or polish.
